Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The quote tool needs only gender, date of birth, your general health, tobacco status, the coverage amount you want, and the term length. Those six details are sufficient to generate carrier rates. Personal information like name, address, and medical records are only requested if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They represent each carrier's quote for your selected health class. The final price is set by the carrier following underwriting, which may maintain, upgrade, or change your class. Nothing on this site is an offer of coverage or a price guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You provide your name, and your quoted selection becomes the application foundation, continuing on the carriers' secure platform. You may pause and resume at any time and sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), manages the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on the specific carrier, coverage amount, and your responses. Many carriers now offer accelerated underwriting for qualified applicants without requiring a medical exam; each quote indicates whether an exam is required, potentially needed, or waived.

Is a longer term better?

A term should extend through the years when your family or business would face hardship from your loss—a home loan, dependent children, business obligations. Longer terms mean higher monthly costs but lock in your rate for more years. The quote tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool does not gather contact details, we do not disclose or trade visitor data, and our analytics are cookieless. See the privacy policy for specifics on what is tracked and by whom.
